The Maine Film Scene has experienced serious growth in the past few years, and nowhere is that more evident than at the yearly Damnationland screenings.

This Friday at the State Theater ten short films locally made will screen to an audience that in the past has been upwards of 600 people. These films feature some of the best of the best in camera, story, wardrobe and performance.

The incredible thing is they don't stop there. Damnationland films screen across the state and for the first time this year, internationally for the month of October  in celebration of Halloween and this creepy time of year. A full list of the cities Damnationland will come to are listed at their website and include Brunswick, Bangor, Presque Isle and even Singapore! (And yes I mean Singapore the country!)

For me personally I was cast as a lead in two of this years films, and I am SO excited to see them completed after all our hard work this summer!

So get your tickets! You can buy them online, or pick them up at the Cross Insurance Arena, the State Theater or your local Bull Moose! Come hang out with me and help me celebrate Halloween and our incredibly talented film community!
