Want to know what the road conditions are all across the state of Maine? The Maine Department of Transportation has live cameras from Houlton to Portland showing you the most up to the minute road conditions wherever you may be going.

The MEDOT has an interactive map that allows you to click on a camera along I-295 and I-95 all the way up to Houlton to see what the roads look like.

During Tuesday and Wednesday's storm, you could see a big difference between the amount of snow up north and what we got in the southern part of the state.

The cameras from the MEDOT don't cover the Maine Turnpike however, as they have their own traffic cams. The Turnpike's cams though seem to be hit or miss. Many times they have no image, images are smaller and their interface is a little clunkier than MEDOT's.

We've got links to both cameras for you below. Save them in your favorites so next time there's a storm, you can have the most up to date road conditions just by looking at the road yourself.
