The National Parks Service celebrates its 100th birthday on Thursday (8/25) and you get the gift...  Of free admission!

Thursday through Sunday you can get into over 400 parks across the USA for free! These parks include Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Maine's own Acadia!

President Woodrow Wilson signed the act creating the National Park Service on August 25th, 1916 when there were only 35 national parks and monuments.  Now, there are 412 parks covering more than 84 million acres in 50 states (plus DC, Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Saipan, and the Virgin Islands)

Every 4th grader can snag a free annual pass (good for them and their entire family) through the Every Kid In A Park program.  Third graders can grab their 4th grade passes starting September 1st.
