Canterbury Shaker Village Festival Celebrates Traditional Arts and Crafts

The Canterbury Artisan Fair celebrates Traditional Arts with an Artisan Craft Fair & Farmers’ Market, music, artisan food and demonstrations this weekend in Canterbury, New Hampshire.

The event includes music and scrumptious food throughout the day from 10 to 5 on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Traditional Arts demonstrations include coopering, blacksmithing, basketry, pottery, wood carving, historic building restoration by Preservation Timber Framing, and herbal presentations including do-it-yourself teas. Agriculture demonstrations include draft horses from Sanborn Mills Farm, farm animals, permaculture, and seed saving, plus a special panel discussion: “A Farmer’s Life” at 11:00 am. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-17. Children under 5 are free.
