The Skeleton Crew: How Amateur Sleuths are Solving America's Coldest Cases is a fascinating book by Deborah Halber! It details cases that have gone unsolved for decades and the tenacious Sherlocks  who spend countless hours trying to solve the mysteries.

I've always loved a good mystery.  But, these are real life mysteries of missing people and tens of thousands of unidentified bodies.  Deborah looks at a number of websites that have developed over the years such as the Doe Network to help find those missing John & Jane Does. She covers topics such as, using DNA in investigations, John Walsh, why people devote so much of their lives to these investigations and case studies of amateur investigations. Deborah joined the 94.9 HOM Morning Show to discuss her book.
