The Bank of NH Pavilion, located on the edge of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, is hands down my favorite place to see a concert in Northern New England. Here's why.

When I lived in New Hampshire, I visited the venue, formerly known as Meadowbrook, many times. And because it was basically in my backyard, I sort of took for granted how great it really is. Now that I've been living in Maine for a few years now, I hadn't gotten around to seeing a show there in quite a while. I went back this weekend to see Vance Joy, and it gave me a whole new perspective.

I've been to many other concert venues in the area, but there's nothing quite like the Bank of NH Pavilion experience. You see, it's not just about the concert. Sure, the stage is great, and there's not a bad seat in the house. But there's also everything else that comes along with it. Great food and drinks. A second stage with even more music. A backstage area that is second to none, ensuring artists have a memorable experience. And the feeling that summertime has finally arrived, as you enjoy an outdoor concert. The staff there work very hard to make sure everyone has a wonderful experience.

I'll definitely be going back there this summer. It's a much longer drive now that I live in Maine, but totally worth it.
