At last year's Beach To Beacon race (which was my first), I made a huge mistake. I had spent a good amount of time perfecting my playlist, so that I had all the right songs to keep me going during the 6.2 mile run. Then at the start of the race, I cued up the playlist on Spotify, and it wouldn't play! I'm guessing it was because there were thousands of people there using all of the data, so I couldn't stream my music. I had to run the entire race in silence!! I won't make that mistake again this year though, I've downloaded all of the songs, so I won't need data to play them.

Here are a some of the songs that I'll be running to this Saturday. You'll see it's mostly hard rock...not the kind of stuff you'll hear on HOM. But that's what works for me to keep me going.
