There's a lot of stigma associated with sleeping in a different bed than your significant other. Uneducated people might think it means your relationship is in trouble; however, this is just an assumption.

Approximately 46 percent of people in a relationship say they secretly wish they could sleep in separate beds just to get a better night's sleep, according to a Slumber Cloud study, as reported by the New York Post. Only 12% of couples already do sleep separately. 24% believe it could even improve a relationship.

The top six reasons why they wish they could sleep alone are:

(1) Their partner snores.
(2) It gets too hot in the bed.
(3) They go to bed at different times.
(4) They can't stretch out.
(5) Their partner hogs the covers.
(6) They can’t get comfortable.
