So one of my guilty pleasures in this life is watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Don't get me wrong, I realize how completely ridiculous it is! For me it is PURE entertainment. And with the interesting array of men that they have selected for this season, I can already tell my entertainment needs are going to be satisfied.

Let me start off by saying that Jojo, this seasons bachelorette, is a fine slice of woman. And some of these goobers they have selected as potential husbands for her, it's almost insulting! Though I realize they can't have all normal dudes there because then it would be boring. Jojo was one of the final two women in the last season of The Bachelor with Ben Higgins. Ben completely ripped her heart out and stomped on it when he told her he loved her but then went and picked Lauren B in the end! (I still can't believe him) In any case, Jojo's heart has now mended and its HER TURN to find love.

So 26 men came out one by one to introduce themselves to Jojo.  To set themselves apart, many of them did it in creative and elaborate ways. Men did everything from riding up to her on horseback (or unicorn), to seranading her with a live acapela group to dressing up as Santa Claus. Yup! And instead of greeting her with a "Ho Ho Ho!" He went with the "Jo Jo Jo!" Apparently it worked because Santa got a rose.

Also you may notice the dude in the Kilt in this photo. He made a crude joke to Jojo about being half Chinese and half Scottish and the punch line had to do with which half was which. Jojo fake laughed to be polite but...it was lame.

Some of these men were REAL nervous and that led to them drinking a lot to calm said nerves. One guy, Daniel from Canada, took the drinking to another level. His first offense was poking another man in the belly button and THEN stripped down to his scivvys and hopped in the pool in the middle of the cocktail party. Jojo was not amused but for some reason she still gave him a rose. Perhaps she enjoyed the view of him in his underpants.

So there was a fair share of jokesters but also a few that Jojo felt a "connection" with. (fun fact: they say the word "connection" an average of 250 times per episode on this show. That stat is made up but seems fully accurate) The gentleman who recieved the "first impression rose" was none other than NFL quarterback Aaron Rodger's brother, Jordan Rodgers. Here they are having that connection I was talking about.

However, I am going to predict here and now that Christian wins it all. He has a good head on his shoulders, works hard and is pleasing to eye balls. All and All, hubby material.

Stay tuned for next week's highlights of "The Bachelorette" with our girl Jojo.

Jo, Jo, Jo! (said like Santa)
