94.9 HOM Weekend Happenings Include Skiing, Horse drawn Sleigh Rides and Snow Golf

How would you like to ski for just a $5 donation? Then head to Mt. Eustis Ski Hill in Littleton, New Hampshire. Other weekend happenings include Skyline Farm's Sleigh Day and South Portland and Biddeford winter festivals.

Mt. Eustis Ski Hill is re-opening on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 9 AM. A $5 donation is suggested to ski for the day. The ski area has a rope tow, a groomer and a small warming hut and about 300 vertical feet to ski.

South Portland Winterfest on Friday and Saturday, February 6th and 7th with ice skating, pancake breakfast, ice sculpture demo, wagon rides and more.  Many activities are free.

With plenty of snow on the ground, the conditions should be excellent during the Biddeford Winterfest Cardboard Sledding Derby. There will be crafts, broomball, snow golf, pony rides and more on Friday through Sunday, February 6 -8, 2015.

It's the Sixteenth Annual Sleigh Day at Skyline Farm in Yarmouth on Saturday, February 7th from 12 Noon to 3 PM. Ride through an open field of snow. Pat a pony and demonstrations will be part of the day.  Dress warmly!
