85th Annual Patriots Day 5-Miler to Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs and One Fund

The 85th Annual Patriots Day 5 Miler to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine is Monday, April 21st and there's still time to join. Bring the kids for their own race.

The race is one of the oldest in the country and the oldest in Maine.  It will begin and end at the Boys & Girls Club on Cumberland Ave in Portland. The race supports college scholarships for deserving high school seniors associated with Boys & Girls Clubs. And this year, a portion of proceeds will go to The One Fund to honor all those affected by the 2013 Boston Marathon tragedy. Get out to support two great causes this year. You have until Sunday to sign up in advance for $18.  $22 is the cost to register on the day of the race. The Kids Fun Run is free to all runners age 12 and under but must register. It starts at 11:00 a.m. Have a great race day!
