According to Boston.com, thanks to a partnership between the U.S. Forest Service and the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund hikers, hunters and horseback riders will access to nearly 800 acres of land in Northern New Hampshire- 180 acres of land in Stark and 603 in Milan.

The purchase will help connect towns to snowmobile trails, hiking paths and rivers. They were able to justify funding for the program because outdoor recreation plays such a significant role in New Hampshire's economy.

This is such exciting news for both the residents of Northern New Hampshire and for tourists who come to visit our fine state.
