2016 Macaroni and Cheese Bake Off

It's become an annual tradition in Concord - New Hampshire's Own Macaroni & Cheese Bake Off!

It just doesn't get any better than this - all you can eat macaroni & cheese, from many different cooks, made many different ways.

I attended last year's event, and it was phenomenal! Here are the results from last year, to give you an idea of the types of mac & cheese there will be:

Restaurant:

• 1^st Place: Contestant  #14, Recipe for Success Program at the NH Food Bank – Un “Beet”able” Mac and Cheese
• 2^nd Place: Contestant #23, 900 Degrees– 900’s Mac and Cheese
• 3^rd Place:  Contestant #22, Concord Food Coop – Hash Brown Mac and Cheese

Traditional:

• 1^st Place -Contestant #21, Tilton Northfield Fire Department – Crunchy Cheddar Mac and Cheese
• 2^nd Place – Contestant #25, Ashley Taylor – Ashley’s Mac and Cheese
• 3^rd Place: Contestant #27, Alison Hemeon– Alison’s Mac and Cheese

Creative/Exotic:

• 1^st Place:  Contestant #12, Belmont Fire Department– Chicken and Waffle Mac and Cheese
• 2^nd Place: Contestant #17, Alisa Muise – Fajita Mac and Cheese
• 3^rd Place: Contestant #4, Dan & Chantelle Boyle– MacsGiving and Cheese

NH Made:

• 1^st Place: Contestant #1, Landaff Creamery – Cravin’ Bacon Mac and Cheese
• 2^nd Place: Contestant #28, Steve Zagieboylo – Smokey Velvet

People’s Choice:

• 1^st Place: Contestant #1, Landaff Creamery – Cravin’ Bacon Mac and Cheese
• 2^nd Place – Contestant #21, Tilton Northfield Fire Department – Crunchy Cheddar Mac and Cheese
