1980’s TV Theme Songs [VIDEO]

Remember when TV shows actually had theme songs?

Being a child of the 80's, I watched a lot a great (and not so great) tv shows. Remember NBC "Must See TV" nights on Thursdays with Cosby, Family Ties, Cheers and Night Court? What a lineup! I LOVED all those shows and their theme music.

My favorite show and TV theme song from the 80's was for the hit ABC series "Growing Pains". Ah, the Seaver family. Mike, Carol (who I had a little crush on), Ben, Jason and Maggie. Let's not forget Chrissy who came along later in the series and of course Luke (played by Leonardo Dicaprio) who was brought in to try to save the aging sitcom come 1991. The song was performed by various artists during the show's 7 year run. See if can remember some of the lyrics:
