These toys may seem harmless but according to toysafety.org, some of these toys can cause serious injuries. And who wants a trip to the emergency room during the holiday season? Nobody, that's who.

1.  Peppa Pig's Muddy Puddles Family

Peppa Pig is the hottest thing since Dora the Explorer. However these action figures are meant for toddlers but have tiny parts kids can choke on.

2.  Kids Time Baby Children's Elephant Pillow

It's a big pink pillow that looks like an elephant.  Sounds friendly enough! However it is so huge that it is unsafe to leave in a babies crib. If the baby moves in such a way that the elephant is now on top of the baby, that is not a good situation.

3.  Slimeball Slinger

It's a slingshot that shoots little green balls. That is an injury to the eye ball waiting to happen.

4.  Banzai Bump N' Bounce Body Bumpers

These are big inflatable sumo suits, where you run around and bounce off each other. Tons o fun but not the safest especially for small children.

5.  The Nerf Rival Apollo Blaster

To quote one of my favorite movies of all time "A Christmas Story", "You'll shoot your eye out, kid"

6.  A "Galloping Butch" doll from the movie "The Good Dinosaur"

This is another toy that has small parts that could be a choking hazard.

7.  Peppy Pups dolls

The pull string leash on this Peppy Puppy can get wrapped around a child's neck too easily.

8.  The Flying Heroes Superman Launcher

It's a plastic Superman doll that spins around and flies like a helicopter and you launch it with a pull string. This thing moves quickly and can cause all kinds of unwanted face and eye injuries.

9.  The Baby Magic Feed and Play doll

It comes with a bunch of small parts that could be choking hazards. Just make sure this toy is given to a child who is well beyond the "putting small things in their mouth" phase.

10.  The "Warcraft" Doomhammer

It looks like Thor's Hammer, but it's from the video game "World of Warcraft".  and it's heavy enough to actually do some damage. Say no to shattered knee caps by passing on this doomhammer.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
